How much does a Bolt-X rental cost in NYC?
A Bolt-X on track (Oscar) rents for $5,450 per 10-hour shoot day, and from $8,450 all-in with our operator, technician and transport within New York City. The prelight day is $5,200 for the robot. Transport is higher than the Bolt because the Bolt-X needs a truck with a specialized lift gate and more people to move it.

Every Rambow day includes the robot, our own operator and technician, Flair software, the standard track, and the truck. Nothing is added later except overtime past 10 hours, extra track sections, turntables, and an extra technician on very long track runs.
The Bolt-X is the long-reach version of the Bolt: 10'5" of reach for full-body, fashion, stage and vehicle moves that a standard Bolt cannot cover in one pass. We have two of them.
It needs more floor than the Bolt and only slightly more power, so we scout any location that is not a stage. On location with a generator, the generator type and output have to be agreed with our operators before the day. A Bolt-X normally runs off a large truck plant; on a smaller tow plant, expect us to inspect the ground and ask the generator operator to bring the voltage down slightly as needed. We do not supply generators.
